What do you get with the Allstate Platinum Elite roadside plan?

With the Platinum Elite plan, you get everything offered in the Roadside Advantage plan, and you can add one additional member for no extra cost. There are no additional benefits to this plan, but your coverage limits are higher.

With Platinum Elite, you get a maximum of five “rescues” per year, whereas the Roadside Advantage plan only provides three. Your roadside emergency coverage limit is $250, compared to the $150 limit of Roadside Advantage.

The Platinum Elite plan costs $149 for the first year.

What is Allstate’s Pay-Per-Use Roadside Assistance?

With Pay-Per-Use, you don’t have to be an Allstate Insurance policyholder. There are no membership fees, you simply contact Allstate when you need roadside assistance and someone will be sent to your location.

You can get the same roadside assistance benefits listed above in the Roadside Advantage section, but you will be paying for them in full rather than having Allstate foot some of the bill.

What else do you need to know about Allstate roadside assistance?

The services are available in all 50 states for most passenger vehicles and light trucks. Don’t expect to use this service for your commercial vehicles. Only private passenger cars and trucks under 10,000 lbs gross vehicle weight qualify at the prices above.

That’s not to say you can’t get coverage for those vehicles. Higher priced programs are available for heavier duty trucks, motorcycles and recreational vehicles. You will need to contact Allstate for those programs.
